Studies/Small Works

I learned the value of painting small paintings to capture an idea or a composition. These small studies are part of my process as they become springboards for much larger works.

They are done with great affection, frequently becoming the best of the best!  

All are on deep set canvas or wood block and look wonderful exhibited alone or in a grouping.
